A ‘show Suite’ revealing how swish flats on the site of the former Elms Hotel might look will open on Saturday, September 29.

Members of the public are welcome to visit the suite for Elms Hall, a development of apartments for the over 55s.

More than 60% of the apartments have already been reserved, according to Michael Stainton, managing director of Lancaster developers Stainton Bespoke Homes.

“Due to circumstances out of my control and along with the restraints of this poor economic climate it has taken a little longer to get to this point than I would have liked,” said Mr Stainton.

“But now that we are doing what we do best and actually building, we will certainly push on with the rest of this build to bring it back on target to be completed by December 2013.”

The suite on Elms Road will be open between 2pm and 4pm each Saturday and Sunday.
