Staff at a holiday park held their charity fundraising evening to raise vital funds for several charities.
On the night, 200 guests donned their glad rags, popped on their dancing shoes and headed along for Holgates, Silverdale, for an evening accompanied by the Eden Valley Ceilidh Band.
During the night the partygoers raised an impressive £4,000.
The proceeds raised during the evening were presented to Macmillan Cancer Support and The Christie Hospital.
“Huge thanks to Michael and the team at Holgates for all their hard work in organising the night and also to everyone that supported them.”
Michael Holgate owner of Holgates Silverdale said: “The staff at all of the Holgates Parks wanted to help these two worthwhile causes.
“It’s fantastic that we have managed to raise £4,000 for them. We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, the disease in all its forms has such an impact on so many people we just wanted to do a little to help support these two very vital charities.
“Both charities provide the very best care and support possible to those that live with cancer, they also help their families, carers and to the community as a whole to live with the effects of cancer.”
