Birthday girl gets Emmerdale star as a gift

SOME teenage girls might receive make up, jewellery or maybe even a mobile phone as a 16th birthday present.

Not Sophie Bailey. Her mum and dad bought her a TV soap actor!

Sophie’s parents arranged for their daughter to be escorted to her birthday party at The Carleton by award-winning Emmerdale heart-throb Danny Miller.

Danny, who plays Aaron Livesey in the soap, was kept as a surprise to Sophie until the very last minute.

“When Danny came up the stairs and Sophie saw him, she went: ‘Oh my God!’ and then she screamed!” said her mum, Jane.

“She loves him. She said it was the best surprise she could have had.”
