A DETAILED planning application for an urban village next to St George's Quay was submitted this week.
But if you didn't already know about a special consultation event to see the plans for yourselves, you're out of luck – the event was yesterday.

Just one day's notice was given to The Visitor for an exhibition arranged by the developers, CTP Ltd and Development Securities PLC, and Lancaster City Council so people could give their views on the plans for Luneside East.

The exhibition showed the layout of the site which, when complete, will provide 350 new homes, shops and 8,000 square metres of business space.

The plans are also available at Palatine Hall for viewing and comments can be submitted through the normal planning process.
